Licensed Private Investigator (LPI) Florida License # C3300222 and (Armed) Personal Protection Specialist (PPS) – Jacksonville Division, covering Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Palm Coast, and Daytona Beach.
Zack joined the NC Protection Group (d.b.a. Private Eyes, Inc.) in April 2018. Based on his extensive law enforcement experience, he was granted his full Private Investigator License by the North Carolina Private Protective Services Board (NCPPSB). Zack also serves as an armed Personal Protection Specialist (PPS) possessing his Florida Concealed Carry Permit, his Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department “retired” identification credentials and completing the North Carolina Private Protective Services Board (NCPPSB) Basic Armed Certification Course.
Zack previously served as a sworn Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department for twenty-eight (28) years (1988 – 2015). During this time, he was assigned to numerous details including Patrol Division – Lennox Station located in South Central Los Angeles; Detective Division; extensive Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) cases working undercover against various Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs, Counter Terrorism Division holding a Top Secret Clearance; working with our Federal Counterparts on terrorism related cases; and as a Sniper and team Back-Up Scout for the departments Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team handling high risk search warrants, barricaded suspects, and hostage rescues.
During his last four years, he was promoted to Sergeant and was assigned to West Hollywood Station, supervising approximately 80 personnel.
Zack has over 300 hours of surveillance detection operations training, 120 hours of advanced surveillance operations training, 100 hours of Attack Recognition for Dignitaries, and 140 hours of Dignitary Protection training, much of which, was spent cross training with United States Secret Service and the Department of Justice.
